9U Select Team for 2026

Dear fellow baseball parents,

Spring is starting to come around, and it's time to start thinking about baseball!

We're pleased to announce that the West Hill 9U Blue Hawks Select team is recruiting players for the 2026 season.

An information session about the team will be held on Thursday, March 26 from 7:30-8:00pm at Sir Oliver Mowat C.I., enter through door 7, following one of our indoor training sessions for West Hill's 9U house league players. All parents and kids who are curious about the Select team are enthusiastically invited to attend, not only for the information session, but also for the winter gym from 6:00-7:30!

We'll be holding tryouts for the team on the following dates:

• Thursday, April 2, 6:00-8:00pm at Sir Oliver Mowat C.I.

• Thursday, April 9, 6:00-8:00pm at Sir Oliver Mowat C.I.

If the weather permits, we might also hold an outdoor tryout mid April.

To be eligible, kids must have a 2017 or 2018 birthday. They don’t need to be signed up with West Hill to attend the tryouts, but if they make the team, they’ll need to register for house league before being put on the roster. The season will run from early May to mid-August, with a possibility of continuing tournament play into early September.
